Eight people were killed and several were injured when a minibus taxi and an articulated truck collided on the N4 toll road in Mpumalanga on Tuesday morning.
According to Moeti Mmusi from the Mpumalanga Department of Community Safety, Security and Liaison, the cause of the crash is unknown.
“Eight people were killed this morning when a minibus taxi and an articulated truck collided on the N4 toll road,” Mmusi said.
“One person sustained critical injuries and several others were injured.”
He said emergency personnel and traffic law enforcement officers were still at the scene.
