Three students from Mercury Taekwon-Do (WC-KMAC) competed at the MASA Western Cape Provincial Championship on Saturday, April 11, placing 17th out of 29 participating clubs.
The event brought together athletes from across the province for a display of martial arts skill and discipline.
Niklyn Pillay, who is not related to sisters, Kiara and Amber Pillay delivered solid performances in patterns despite tough competition, collectively securing gold and silver medals in both Traditional Point Sparring and Traditional Continuous Sparring.
