The High Ccourt ordered the University of Limpopo (UL) to allow a postgraduate student to continue his studies until the evaluation of his doctoral thesis is finalised.

The order came after UL informed Dickiel Kusainda, a Malawian citizen, on 13 January 2023, that his studies had been terminated.

The institution accepted him to study for a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in international relations at the School of Social Sciences on 15 January 2019.
