MAKHADO – A massive, drug manufacturing operation has been uncovered in Makhado, in Limpopo.
And it is estimated to be worth more than R500 million.
The discovery comes as police intensify the fight against organised drug syndicates. Five people have been arrested.

It follows a similar major bust in Swartruggens in the North West in May.Â
Eleven suspects, including Mexican nationals, were arrested there, after an intelligence-driven operation uncovered a multimillion-rand drug laboratory.
Police are currently on the scene in Makhado.
