BLOEMONTEIN – Moraadi Cholota has filed an urgent request to have the charges against her dropped.
The former personal assistant to former Free State premier Ace Magashule wants fraud and corruption charges against her dropped.

She is requesting her extradition from the US and her subsequent arrest so that it can be declared unconstitutional and invalid.
The NPA has until tomorrow evening to respond.
Cholota says the state has no evidence to prove she committed fraud, corruption and money laundering. She is one of the suspects in a R255 million corruption case.
The preliminary hearing in the criminal case is scheduled for September 11 at the Free State High Court.
