JOHANNESBURG – There’s not enough evidence to enable a successful conviction.

That’s the reason given by the NPA to drop charges of contravening the Immigration Act against 96 Libyans found at an illegal military camp
in Mpumalanga.

Home Affairs will now facilitate the deportation which is expected to take place within the next 48 hours.
