Western Cape hit by new Yellow Level 2 weather warning








The South African Weather Service (SAWS) issued more warnings for damaging winds along the Western Cape coast today, Cape {town} Etc reports.

A Yellow Level 2 Warning for damaging winds and waves that could result in difficulty in navigation and sea is expected between Saldanha Bay and Plettenberg Bay today.

‘A second cold front right on the heels of today’s front [will] result in isolated showers and rain along most of the country’s coastline tomorrow (11 Aug),’ the SAWS said on Saturday.

This cold front will then move between Plettenberg Bay and East London.

The Western Cape will be cloudy, windy and cool today, accompanied by isolated showers and rain (except in the northeast) but scattered in the southwest.
