JOHANNESBURG – Twelve Pretoria Girls High School pupils have been suspended for suspected racism.
It’s believed they created a whites-only WhatsApp group filled with racism and micro-aggression.
At a meeting of the School Governing with aggrieved learners more issues were raised.
The girls complained of little to no action by the principal when racist incidents are reported.
They also raised preferential treatment of white pupils and selective application of the code of conduct.
The girls have been suspended while the SGB probes the school management and principal.
