The German side pipped Tanzania’s Young Africans (Yanga SC), 2-1, in their first game before Saturday’s narrow loss to Sead Ramovic’s men.

After the game, the Augsburg players displayed a large banning written: ‘Siyabonga Mpumalanga’, will similar illustrations seen on their off-field pre-season merch, containing Esther Mahlangu-inspired illustrations and Ndebele traditional prints.
