JOHANNESBURG – North West Premier Lazarus Mokgosi will deliver his maiden State of the Province Address.
He’s expected to outline the priorities of the seventh administration.  Â
The opening of the North West legislature comes days after residents took to the streets of Mahikeng.
They were protesting against poor service delivery.
The ANC and its tripartite alliance partners have called on the premier to prioritise service delivery.
Cosatu says the mineral-rich province must stop exporting rocks and begin beneficiating its metals.
It also wants to see concrete plans towards the promised jobs and economic summit.
