The Ahmed Kathrada Foundation and Outa are part of the body.

It comes after ActionSA agreed to work with the ANC in the metro if Gwamanda is removed.

Herman Mashaba’s party is also expected to back a R2.5-billion loan to the city.

That loan is expected to be tabled at a council sitting on Thursday.

ActionSA had previously objected to the financing from French development agency ADF.

At the time it had said the loan would burden ratepayers for the next 15 years.
