There is more than just three points on offer when TS Galaxy tackle top-flight newbies Kruger United in the Mpumalanga Derby this Sunday.
Despite being rooted at the bottom of the Betway Premiership standings, Kruger are adamant they are not feeling any pressure ahead of their much-anticipated fixture against Galaxy.

The highly anticipated match between Ehlanzeni and Nkangala regions is at the Solomon Mahlangu Stadium in KwaMhlanga.
“This match is special because it’s the first time we have a Mpumalanga Derby in the top-flight in South Africa,” notes Kruger’s technical director-cum-team manager Elasto Kapowezha, speaking to KickOff this week.
“This is more than three points; there’s bragging rights at stake.
“As the new kid on the block, this is a game where we are going to introduce ourselves to our big brothers; we want to show them we are here to stay and to compete.
“Hopefully the stadium will be packed.
“I know Galaxy are at home, but in a derby, there are no home and away matches. It will show on Sunday who actually has more fans. We will see which of the two clubs’ fans will come in greater numbers.
“Since it’s a derby, there is no favourite, and there is no underdog.

“Our management will always play a supportive role to the players and the technical team. We are happy with the progress of the team; the results may not be going our way, but the performance of the last two games is giving us hope,” he adds.
Kick-off is at 17:30.
