Johannesburg weather forecast for Saturday, Sunday and Monday
Johannesburg residents can expect a sunny but hazy weekend, with temperatures gradually climbing into the new week.
Saturday will reach a high of 16°C with a cold overnight low of 1°C. Conditions will remain hazy with light south-southwesterly winds.
Sunday will be warmer at 19°C, with the minimum temperature rising to 3°C. Hazy conditions are expected to continue, with the air quality forecast to be very unhealthy.
Monday brings the warmest weather of the period, with temperatures reaching 21°C after a chilly start of 5°C.
Hazy skies are expected to persist.
No rain is forecast for Johannesburg through Monday.
Pretoria weather forecast: Warmer conditions expected
Pretoria will experience similar weather conditions to Johannesburg, but with slightly warmer daytime temperatures.
Saturday is expected to reach 18°C with a low of 3°C under hazy skies.
Sunday will warm to 21°C after an early morning temperature of 5°C, with dry conditions continuing.
Monday is forecast to be the warmest day, reaching 22°C with a minimum of 6°C. Hazy conditions are expected, and air quality may become very unhealthy.
Rain is not expected in Pretoria over the weekend or on Monday.
Cape Town weather forecast: Clouds increase before possible Monday showers
Saturday is forecast to be partly sunny with a maximum temperature of 18°C and a minimum of 11°C. Moderate northwesterly winds are expected.
Sunday will reach 19°C after a mild overnight low of 13°C. Conditions are expected to become cloudier during the day.
On Monday, temperatures will remain cool at around 18°C with a low of 9°C. A couple of morning showers are forecast before sunshine returns later in the day.
