LIMPOPO is mourning the sudden death of beloved Xitsonga artist, Kenny Bevhula.
The 53-year-old Swarila hitmaker died on Sunday, 19 April 2026 after he reportedly struggled to breathe.
Family confirms cardiac arrest
His family confirmed the sad news and said funeral and memorial details will be shared soon.
Speaking to Daily Sun, family spokesman, Shadrack Bevhula, said the singer suffered cardiac arrest.

“He struggled to breathe for a moment in hospital. Doctors did all they could but couldn’t save him,” he said.

The family described his passing as a huge loss to the arts industry.
“We are deeply saddened by the passing of Kenny Bevhula. His creative work and unique voice left a lasting impact. He will be remembered for his talent, passion and the inspiration he gave to many.”
