The ANC will not dictate to the DA in Gauteng in forming a provincial government of unity (PGU).

This is according to the party’s federal council chairperson, Helen Zille, who on Tuesday, flanked by Gauteng DA leader Solly Msimanga, addressed the media on the deadlock in negotiations between the ANC and the DA to form a government in Gauteng.

The DA’s address on Tuesday comes after Gauteng Premier Panyaza Lesufi postponed announcing his Cabinet on Monday because the two parties had deadlocked in their negotiations.
