Central Gauteng Athletics celebrated an outstanding performance at the ASA Age Groups Championships, finishing second overall on the medal table.

Hosting the championships at Germiston Stadium gave CGA athletes home advantage, allowing them to compete in front of home fans.

CGA general manager Mandla Radebe added that CGA athletes demonstrated strength and composure across all disciplines, from explosive sprints to endurance races and technically demanding field events.
