South Africa’s best school boys are currently in action at the U18 Cravenweek which will be performed at the Hoërskool Monument in Krugersdorp.

The tournament, which is part of SA Rugby’s 2024 Youth Weeks program, runs from June 24 to 29with 16 teams competing in matches played on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday.
Four matches took place on day one of the tournament, Monday June 24, while four more games were contested on the second day, Tuesday, June 25.
The the same was the case on Wednesday, June 26.
Four undefeated teams
Free state and the Pumas remained undefeated after scoring important victories on Day 4 on Thursday June 27.
Free State and the Pumas – as well as Boland and Western Province – have recorded two wins in as many games and will look to gain some momentum in the final round of matches this Saturday.
The Pumas scored 60 points against the Limpopo Blue Bulls on Tuesday and were just as ruthless in their clash with the Griffons on Thursday, scoring nine times in a 57-26 victory.
Lock Franko Rossouw touched down twice, while flyhalf Matthew Abbey, the tournament’s top scorer, contributed 17 points.
After defeating the Griffons 57-36 in the first round, Free State had every reason to be confident heading into Thursday afternoon’s showdown with the Bulls.
The central union scored three times in the first half before the Bulls fought their way back into the match.
However, late touchdowns from fullback Heinz Stockenstrom – who finished with a brace – and No. 8 Liam Santos sealed a 34-27 victory for the Free State.
Earlier in the day, Griquas and the Limpopo Blue Bulls showed their attacking intent in a goal-packed match that saw a total of 15 goals scored.
The Northerners led 18-12 at half-time before Griquas took their performance to the next level in the second stanza to claim a win. 53-37 victory.
The Golden Lions recovered from a narrow loss to the Bulls to win the WP XV 37-33 on Thursday.
The hosts defeated the Cape side by six tries to five, with stand-in defenders Cheswill Jooste and Michael Benzien scoring two each.
The final day of the tournament kicks off with a match between Leopards and Limpopo Blue Bulls at 08:00.
WP plays the last match of the competition at 1:15 PM against Free State.
Western Province are the defending champions of Craven Week.
