A. level 4 warning for severe thunderstorms leading to over the Overberg District Municipality and Langeberg Local Municipality in the Western Cape; as well as the southern parts of KwaZulu-Natal.
B. level 2 warning for severe thunderstorms leading to localised flash flooding and large amounts of small hail over the City of Cape Metro Municipality, Cape Winelands and Central Karoo Local Municipalities in the Western Cape, extreme Eastern parts of Northern Cape, south-western parts of Free State, as well as Joe Gqabi, Chris Hani (excluding Inxuba Yethemba) District Municipalities, Matatiele, Umzimvubu, Ntabankulu and Mhlontlo Local Municipalities in the Eastern Cape.

MPUMALANGA

NORTH-WEST

THE FREE STATE

THE NORTHERN CAPE
Morning fog patches along the coast, otherwise partly cloudy and warm to hot with isolated to scattered showers and thundershowers over the central and eastern parts, but widespread in the extreme north-east. The wind along the coast will be light to moderate north-westerly, becoming moderate southerly to south-westerly from late afternoon.
THE WESTERN CAPE
Partly cloudy over the extreme north-western, where it will be hot, otherwise cloudy and cool to warm with isolated to scattered showers and thundershowers but widespread in the Overberg area, spreading to the eastern parts in the afternoon. The wind along the coast will be light to moderate north-westerly to westerly along the northern parts of the west coast where it will become light to moderate south-westerly from the afternoon, otherwise moderate to fresh south-easterly but strong at times along the south-west coast.

Cloudy at times and warm with widespread showers and thundershowers. The wind along the coast will be fresh to strong easterly.
