Mega scale 506 MW Free State Solar Cluster is taking a big step forward

A mega-scale on solar energy and battery storage is under construction on a 560 ha site in the province of grid-ready-free state-a development that includes two PV farms on solar energy with a combined capacity of 506 MW and advanced plans for the construction of an accompanying battery storage stroke). The Noa Group, which develops the project to deliver private customers, reports that the 157 MW Khauta West Solar PV facility has reached financial closure this month. This, after the 349 MW Khauta South went to financial closure in June.
