Looking ahead to the ABC Motsepe League
While Brave Eleven FC enters the ABC Motsepe League, they are committed to continue to develop the skills and talents of their players, to build a strong team culture and companionship and compete with integrity, sportiness and passion. The competition, sponsored by the Motsepe Foundation and named after mining magnate Patrice Motsepe, is the third division of South Africa, divided into nine provincial streams. It serves as a crucial springboard for clubs that strive for promotion to the Motsepe Foundation Championship (second level) via National Play -Offs.
The team only has this week (11-15/09/2025) to rest, because we are already too late to prepare for the Provincial Premiere Cup and the Ned Bank Cup. To strengthen their team, Brave Eleven has announced full two -week tests from Monday, August 18, 2025 to Friday 29 August 2025, open to everyone to judge in the gym with the team. The selected team for the official preparations for the season. The team will meanwhile tournaments and friendly matches with our players and the rated players.
This preparation is vital, because the ABC Motsepe League season usually starts in September, with competitions that demand consistency of more than 30 races per province. Brave Eleven wants to have an impact in the stream of the free state, where competition is stiff with established parties such as Tseng Madridtas and Mangaung Unite. Success here could lead to national play -offs in May/June 2026 and offer a chance for promotion.
The ABC Motsepe League plays a key role in South African football development and offers a platform for semi-professional clubs to present talent and to bridge the gap to fully professional levels. Since its foundation in 2011 (formerly known as the Vodacom League), it has produced stars as Percy Tau and Themba Zwane, who take off from provincial ranks to Bafana Bafana and PSL Glory. For clubs such as Brave Eleven, it offers exposure, potential sponsorship and an opportunity to contribute to the elevation of the community through youth programs.
