A cold front will make landfall in the Western Cape on Saturday where isolated to scattered showers and rain are expected along west coast and adjacent interior.

Warnings from the SA Weather Service for Saturday:
A. level 2 warning for damaging waves resulting in difficulty in navigation at sea between Lamberts Bay and Cape Agulhas spreading to Plettenberg Bay by Sunday morning.
B. level 2 warning for damaging coastal winds resulting in small vessels and personal watercraft being at risk of taking in water and capsizing in locality between Saldanha Bay and Cape Agulhas spreading to Plettenberg Bay by the afternoon until Sunday.
C. level 2 warning for disruptive rainfall leading to localised flooding of susceptible formal and informal settlements or roads, and low-lying areas over Cederberg, Bergrivier, Saldanha Bay, Swartland, City of Cape Town, Cape Winelands, and the western parts of the Overberg District in the Western Cape.
D. level 2 warning for strong damaging winds leading to localised damage to informal settlements, as well as risk of runaway fires over the central parts of the Northern Cape and over Dr Beyers Naude and Inxuba Yethemba local municipalities in the Eastern Cape.
Extreme high fire conditions are expected over Ubuntu local municipality in the Northern Cape.

Fine at first, otherwise partly cloudy and cool, but cold in places.

Fine and cool, becoming partly cloudy in the afternoon.
6. NORTHERN CAPE
Fine, windy and cool to cold, but cloudy to partly cloudy in the west and south-west where isolated showers and rain are expected. The wind along the coast will be light to moderate north-westerly to westerly.
7. WESTERN CAPE
Morning mist over the western and southern parts, otherwise partly cloudy, windy and cool to cold, but cloudy in the west. Isolated to scattered showers and rain except in the east. The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh westerly to north-westerly, but strong along the south-west coast.

8. WESTERN HALF OF THE EASTERN CAPE
Morning fog in the south, otherwise fine and warm. The wind along the coast will be light to moderate northerly, becoming fresh to strong south-westerly from the late afternoon.
9. EASTERN HALF OF THE EASTERN CAPE
Morning fog south of the escarpment, otherwise fine and warm. The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh north-easterly.
10. KWAZULU-NATAL
Partly cloudy in places in the morning with fog over the south-central interior, otherwise fine and cool to warm. The wind along the coast will be light to moderate northerly to north-easterly, reaching fresh in the afternoon.
