Health Ombud report | Psychiatric patients froze to death

JOHANNESBURG – A disturbing investigation into Northern Cape hospitals has revealed that psychiatric patients froze to death at two separate facilities.

The Health Ombud has released findings into the treatment of patients at the Northern Cape Mental Health Hospital and the Robert Mangaliso Sobukwe Hospital.

This comes after two patients died and a third received inadequate medical care.
