The South African Weather Service (SAWS) predicts cold weather with temperatures that peak at 17 degrees in parts of Gauteng for this week.
Partially Cloudy circumstances are expected Monday afternoon.
Residents are encouraged to use safe devices to stay warm and never to leave a device with a naked flame without supervision.

Prediction Lehlohonolo Thobela says that maximum temperatures peak at 17 degrees in Johannesburg, Vereeniging and 18 in Pretoria.
“For us again tomorrow we still expect partially cloudy conditions for most parts of the province with cool temperatures over the northern parts. Cloudy conditions are expected to continue to exist for the central and eastern parts of Gauteng, otherwise we can partially cloudy circumstances and cold temperatures over the southern parts of Gautenga, says Thobela.
