BARBERTON, MP – It was a day of sombre reflection as family, friends.
Former colleagues and the country remembered the late Deputy President David Mabuza.

He was laid to rest in his home town of Barberton in Mpumalanga.
Mabuza’s son described him as a firm and principled father.
“Dad was disciplined, structured and decisive, when dad made a decision it was final, and we all knew it,” he said.
Mabuza’s youngest sister, Zandile, described him as a responsible and strong brother.
“Your passing my brother has left us with more questions than answers. It’s hard to understand and even harder to accept that you are now no more,” she said.
