Handbag and other items found in the car of agents after it has been removed from Hennops River

A white handbag, an identity document, a vehicle service book and keys.

These are some of the items that police officers found in the destroyed white VW Polo, who traveled three free state agents to Limpopo when they were missing last week.

The car was picked up from the Hennops River in Centurion, Tshwane, just after 2 p.m. on Thursday, more than two hours after it was established.

This is just a few days after rescuers found the bodies of agents Cebekhulu Linda, 24, Boipelo Senoge, 24, and Keamogetswe -purchases, 30, in the river.

It took a lot of manpower of the various search and rescue teams and a heavy tow truck to lift the vehicle out of the river.

National police commissioner Gen Fannie Masemola and Gauteng Prime Minister Panyaza Lesufi are on site.
