Johannesburg – The police are investigating a case of hijacking and kidnapping after three of their members were missing while driving along the N1 Highway in Johannesburg.
They were last seen in an Enden garage near the Gasmere Toll Plaza, which traveled in a white polo on Wednesday.
The missing agents, two women and one male, are between 20 and 30 years old, were out of service when the incident took place, while they drove to Bloemfontein to their deployment area.
Spokesperson for the National Police Athlenda Mathe says that their vehicle tracking and mobile phones are eliminated.
Mathe has encouraged the public to provide information that can help the investigation
“We have established a VOC (Operational Center location) and a full search is underway with a high level of detectives and crime information operators from Gauteng and the free state that works tirelessly to find these three Constables.”
