Free State Learner, 21, arrested for supposed his teacher

A student of degree 10 was arrested because he would have stabbed a teacher during a dispute left at the Kgabareng Secondary School in Viljenskroon.

According to spokesperson Howard Ndaba of the Free State Department of Education, the incident took place on Monday when the teacher and the 21-year-old student had an interaction with regard to the alleged late arrival of the student.

“While the teacher approached the case as part of school procedures, the situation reportedly escalated. The circumstances around the incident continue to be revised for an honest and objective concept of what happened, “he said.

The Department said that the psychosocial support services would use to offer extensive counseling and emotional support to students and teachers who are affected by the incident, whereby their well -being is guaranteed and promotes a safe and supporting learning environment.

Mec Mantlhake maboya has convicted the incident. The Sa Democratic Teachers’ Union Also convicted the attack on the teacher.

NDABA said that the department would work closely with law enforcement officers to ensure that the violence and social ailments in schools curb to ensure that they remain safe and supportive environments.
