At least 10 people died after a bus from Gauteng collided on Wednesday morning with a truck in the free state.
The police said that more than 20 injured passengers were brought to different hospitals.
Spokesperson Capt Loraine Earle said: “The bus wore 35 passengers when an accident occurred on the N6 between Redersburg and Smithfield.”
The accident happened on Wednesday at 4.20 am and at 9 am the police were still working on the spot.
