Ruby Kraus and Arista van Zyl led their respective teams, KwaZulu-Natal Coast A and North Gauteng A, to victories on the second day of the SASHOC National Week in Bloemfontein. Kraus scored three goals across two games, helping KZN Coastals maintain an undefeated streak in Pool B. Her team remained tight defensively after reviewing their previous game performance, leading to an 8-1 victory over Northern Free State, and later edging Boland A 1-0. On the other hand, North Gauteng A bounced back from a defeat against South Gauteng A with a 4-1 win over Southern Free State A. Van Zyl, who netted a goal early and another later in the match, is now the top scorer of the tournament with five goals. North Gauteng A’s win propelled them to second place in Pool A, trailing South Gauteng A. The tournament continues with matches slated through June 21, viewable on SuperSport Schools.
