Limpopo police launch manhunt for escapees from police cell

The four men escaped from police cells on Monday morning.

Knowledge Dhambuza, Limited Dhambuza, Eric Zion Nechikhovele and Joao Chauke were arrested in July last year for tempering with the essential infrastructure.

Police spokesperson Malesela Ledwaba has urged the community not to attempt to apprehend the suspects as that might threaten their safety.

“Police were allegedly around the station premises when they heard some suspicious loud bang coming from the cells direction. They immediately went to the cells and found several doors forced opened.

“A team of Detectives has been appointed to trace the suspect and also to investigate the circumstances surrounding the escape.”
