The winner can earn a Toyota Hilux Single Cab at the national Toyota SA/Agri SA Young Farmer of the Year Awards 2024. Kwanalu CEO Sandy La Marque highlighted the significance of honoring young farmers for their innovation and dedication amidst local challenges. She noted that the competition showcases the diverse agricultural contributions of KwaZulu-Natal to both local and international food production. Open to all member farmers regardless of role or company size, the competition celebrates achievements in various areas including manufacturing, marketing, and community involvement.
