Cousins ​​kidnapped in the North West were found unharmed as six were arrested

North West police spokesperson Brig Sabata Mokgwabone reported the rescue of two teenage cousins following an investigation by a multi-disciplinary team, which included Provincial Organized Crime, Anti-Kidnapping Unit, Bojanala Platinum Task Team, and British Crime Intelligence officers. The teenagers were located on Monday evening in a house at New Stands in Klipgat near Winterveld and Mabopane. Six suspects were arrested during the operation, while a seventh suspect, Humphrey Martin, 48, was apprehended on March 8 in Naturena, Johannesburg. He has made multiple court appearances and will remain in custody until his formal bail application on April 8. Mokgwabone stated that the teenagers were examined by paramedics at Klipgat police station and were found to be in good health apart from exhaustion and trauma, and have now been reunited with their families. The suspects are expected to face charges of kidnapping and extortion before a British magistrate soon.
