Jobs, housing, water and electricity for rural areas are priorities for Limpopo’s new Prime Minister Phophi Ramatuba

Ramatuba expressed her humility and gratitude upon being entrusted with the responsibility of Premier of Limpopo. She emphasized her commitment to leading the province towards progress, prosperity, and unity. Ramatuba highlighted the importance of creating employment, providing homes for the homeless, and ensuring water and electricity reach the most in need, particularly in remote areas. She acknowledged the strong support from the Limpopo electorate, which gave the ANC a significant majority, and stressed the importance of meeting service delivery challenges. As Premier, she intends to foster economic growth and socio-economic progress while prioritizing the vulnerable. Additionally, she emphasized the responsibility of holding those in public office accountable. The ANC successfully installed seven premiers, including Ramatuba in Limpopo. In similar unopposed elections, Panyaza Lesufi took office in Gauteng, Mandla Ndlovu in Mpumalanga, and Maqueen Letsoha-Mathae in the Free State.
