A study conducted by the University of Fort Hare highlights a significant challenge faced by collective livestock farmers in the Eastern Cape: inadequate knowledge about tick control. This lack of understanding presents a major barrier to effective livestock management in the region. Efforts to ensure proper knowledge dissemination and training on tick control methods could be crucial for improving the health and productivity of livestock owned by these farmers.
