We dare not abandon our people: Prime Ministers

Limpopo and Mpumalanga have ushered in new premiers, Phophi Ramathuba and Mandla Ndlovu, who emphasized their cabinets’ duty to prioritize service delivery and community engagement. Ramathuba and Ndlovu introduced six new cabinet members each, highlighting a commitment to addressing key provincial issues. Ramathuba outlined her administration’s main focuses, including economic growth, reducing unemployment, promoting industrialization, enhancing agriculture and rural development, improving water supply, upgrading infrastructure, advancing healthcare and education, and combating crime. She urged cabinet members to maintain close contact with residents and to approach their roles with dedication and integrity. The aim is to implement effective, sustainable, and community-responsive policies and programs, ensuring everyone in the Executive Council leads their respective portfolios efficiently. Both premiers stressed the importance of unity and responsibility in delivering tangible results, now that elections are over and it’s time to drive progress for their provinces.
