We dare not abandon our people: Prime Ministers

Newly appointed premiers in Limpopo and Mpumalanga have urged their cabinet members to prioritize citizen welfare and deliver essential services. Both Phophi Ramathuba of Limpopo and Mandla Ndlovu of Mpumalanga introduced six new cabinet members each. During the announcement, Ramathuba stressed the importance of focusing on key provincial challenges such as economic growth, job creation, industrialization, agriculture, rural development, water supply, infrastructure, healthcare, education, and crime.

Ramathuba emphasized, “We must not abandon the people; the elections are over, and now we need everyone behind the wheel.” She added that each cabinet member would handle specific portfolios vital for the province’s holistic development and must lead with integrity and responsibility to achieve tangible results. Ramathuba assured the public that the government’s policies and programs would be effective, sustainable, and responsive to community needs. Both leaders highlighted that the new executive council members are expected to collaborate closely and speak out when necessary.
