WATCH | Food Safety | Ways to prevent poisoning cases at schools

KLIPTOWN, SOWETO – Reports of suspected food poisoning cases have become a permanent feature in the country.

The number of children dying from alleged food poisoning also continues to rise.

Health Minister Aaron Motsoaledi says toxicology reports confirmed that organophosphates, chemicals found in pesticides, were responsible for the deaths of 6 children in Soweto last month.

To prevent further cases arising from schools, Gauteng Education MEC Matome Chiloane is in Kliptown to address safety issues.
