Cape Town Spurs FC » Kruger overcome Spurs in Mpumalanga

Cape Town Spurs did not manage to pick up a point in their clash against Kruger United in the Motsepe Foundation Championship at KaNyamazane Stadium in Mpumalanga on Sunday afternoon.

The team fell short in the match and lost 1-0, not being able to recover from falling behind in the first 45 minutes of the match.

Coming into the match in ninth position on the log, Spurs have been eager to pick up more wins in the league in their quest for promotion back into the Betway Premiership.

Cape Town Spurs fell behind to Kruger United in the first half, courtesy of a Thabo Nkwana goal. The Urban Warriors’ frustration continued as they didn’t manage to find the equaliser and they went into the half-time break behind.

When the match resumed for the second half, matters remained the same until the final whistle.
