Police beefed up in Bishop Lavis following mass shooting

BISHOP LAVIS – Western Cape Community Safety MEC Anroux Marais says there will be an increase in police deployments to Bishop Lavis. 

This follows a shooting that left seven people dead and one injured.

Authorities believe the shooter entered a residence and opened fire. 

Marais says that crime intelligence must be improved to prevent such incidents in the future
