Water restrictions in parts of SA as demand grows

JOHANNESBURG – The country’s water crisis continues unabated with some provinces implementing restrictions to meet demand.

It’s predicted that 7 of the 13 major water systems in the country will have a deficit by 2040.

At the same time, demand for water is expected to exceed the available supply by 2030.

What could be the solution to all of this, and can wastewater play a role?
