Tensions simmering in Naledi over food poisoning

SOWETO – The City of Joburg’s MMC for Safety says all spaza shops found to be non-compliant will close down temporarily until they tick all the boxes.

Mgcini Tshwaku led an inspection of shops in Naledi, Soweto, following the deaths of five children.

They are reported to have consumed snacks purchased from foreign-owned spaza shop.
