BLOEMFONTEIN – There is continued concern about the scourge of gender-based violence against women.

This comes after eight women were killed in bride burnings by intimate partners in the Free State in the first nine months of 2024.
It is an indication that this brutal form of femicide is becoming a disturbing trend.
