The SA Weather Service today issued a warning of damaging winds over northwestern parts of the province.
A level two yellow warning has been issued tomorrow for severe thunderstorms with damaging winds, excessive lightning and heavy rainfall over the interior and northern interior.
Snow is also forecast for the southern Drakensberg on Monday and Tuesday.
In a statement, KZN Cogta said there were no expected disruptions to major routes across the province due to the weather conditions.

Wiseman Dlamini is a forecaster with the SA Weather Service.
“We are expecting very light snowfall over our southern Drakensburg, which is part of the Harry Gwala district, but in the mountains and for the time being no warning has been issued. At this stage no warning of any kind is necessary, but I should mention that again you may need to be cautious regarding the rain we expect in KZN on Sunday and Monday.”
