HIV/AIDS in SA | Mpumalanga records SA’s highest prevalence rate

JOHANNESBURG – Mpumalanga has the highest HIV prevalence in South Africa.

It’s surpassed KwaZulu-Natal, which for some time used to be the most worrying province for authorities.

Roughly 890,000 people were living with HIV in the province in 2022.
