JOHANNESBURG – The Gauteng government wants all relevant council stakeholders to ensure there’s accountability in order to address poor governance, which affects service delivery.
Finance and Economic Development MEC Lebogang Maile briefed the media on the Auditor-General’s damning report on Thursday.

Seven out of Gauteng’s eleven municipalities received unqualified audits for the 2022/23 financial year, with Midvaal being the sole municipality to receive a clean audit.
