The facility, with equipment worth over R100 million, produced thousands of mandrax pill-packages for trade.
Mthombeni said police are establishing whether the drugs were being sold to a local market or being exported for global trade.
“We’re having an international drug agency. These people internationally, we have linked up with people internationally so that we can look on these consignments as and when it is taken to other countries,” said Mthombeni.
