He said technology must be used to improve government services and make them faster and more accessible to residents.
Lesufi said the launch of GPT-RIS was part of a broader push to modernise government systems, particularly in areas where residents and businesses rely on efficient public services.
“So these are the kinds of things that I feel government must move its weight [behind], and when I realised that we’re going to launch this new system, I said, ‘MEC, I’m coming there to witness’. It’s in my blood, it’s in my passion to modernise. We have to modernise, we have to innovate, and we have to move with [the] times,” Lesufi said.
