Johannesburg: Warm weather for the big Ellis Park clash
The whole country will have its eyes on Johannesburg on Saturday as the Springboks take on the All Blacks at Ellis Park, and the weather is set to be warm.
Johannesburg is forecast to reach 27°C on Saturday, with hazy sunshine and a low of 10°C. Winds from the northwest are expected at 13 km/h.
Sunday will remain warm, with a high of 27°C and a low of 10°C. The forecast calls for warm conditions with high, thin cloudiness.
By Monday, Johannesburg should see 25°C, with hazy sunshine and a low of 9°C.
Pretoria could hit 29°C
Pretoria is forecast to be even warmer over the weekend.
Saturday is expected to reach 28°C, with hazy sun and a low of 11°C. Sunday could be the hottest day of the three, with temperatures climbing to 29°C.
The forecast describes Sunday as very warm with sunny spells.
Monday will be slightly cooler at 26°C, with hazy sun and a low of 12°C.
Cape Town: A much cooler weekend
Cape Town will feel very different from Gauteng.
Saturday is forecast to reach just 18°C, with some sun before conditions turn cloudy. There is a 25% chance of rain, while the low is expected to be 10°C.
Sunday will be brighter; it’ll be 18°C with sunny conditions, and a low of 11°C.
Monday will remain cool, although there will be plenty of sunshine. The temperature is forecast to reach 17°C, dropping to 11°C overnight.
Winds will also pick up on Monday, reaching 22 km/h from the southeast.
