“The department has arranged psychosocial support for pupils and the alleged victims, with social workers and other support personnel available at the school to provide assistance,” Hammond said.
Hammond added that the school remained operational, as the staff member concerned was currently not at the school.
“The staff member concerned is currently not at the school,” Hammond said. “We do wish to reassure parents, pupils and the broader school community that the school remains stable and that teaching and learning is continuing as normal.”
