Johannesburg is forecast to reach a high of 21°C after a hazy start, with air quality expected to be very unhealthy. Skies are expected to remain clear, with no chance of rain and light SSW winds of 9km/h. The overnight temperature is expected to drop to 3°C, with clear skies continuing into the night.
Pretoria is expected to be slightly warmer, with a daytime high of 23°C under hazy skies and very unhealthy air quality. There is no chance of rain or thunderstorms, while light WSW winds of 9km/h are forecast. Temperatures will fall to 4°C overnight.
Cape Town is expected to be cooler, with a high of 19°C. Cloudy conditions are forecast in the morning, with intervals of bright sunshine developing in the afternoon. There is a 25% chance of precipitation during both the day and night, although no measurable rainfall is forecast. Southerly winds of 9km/h are expected during the day, strengthening to SSE 17km/h overnight, with gusts reaching 43km/h. The overnight low is expected to be 11°C as conditions become partly cloudy.
